Scientific Program

Welcome to the largest, most recognized international conference and exposition in the world of liquid phase separation science and analysis. The HPLC 2020 San Diego, CA, USA Symposium will offer participants the opportunity to present and discuss the very latest scientific and technological advances in liquid-phase separations. The conference program will be guided by emerging trends in separations technology and their impact on science, industry, and society. A special emphasis in applications will be on the life sciences to include, but not limited to, pharmaceuticals, antibody-drug conjugates, antibody characterization, continuous bioprocessing, biotechnology, proteins and proteomics, glycomics, metabolomics and lipidomics, food and nutrition, well-characterized biologicals, biofuels, environment, toxicology, and more!

The HPLC 2020 Tentative Program Schedule:

  • Saturday and Sunday - short courses
  • Sunday 4:00 PM - Opening ceremony, awards presentations, opening plenary lectures, followed by a welcome reception.
  • Monday thru Wednesday - Exhibition, vendor technical workshops.
  • Monday thru Thursday - Oral presentations, tutorials, poster sessions, closing plenary lectures, Best Poster competition, Tube video competition, Separation Science Slam competition.
  • Thursday - Program adjourns at 6:00 PM

Researchers with new results in areas relevant to the meeting are encouraged to submit up to a 400-word abstract online for lecture or poster consideration. We are striving to ensure the broadest possible coverage and exchange of recent advances.

  • Abstract deadline for oral presentation consideration is January 31, 2020.
  • March 16, 2020 is the poster abstract deadline for posters in competition for poster awards and for inclusion in the online preliminary scientific program.
